A place with history

A continued legacy as one of Norway's oldest seaside hotels.

Since 1898, Langesund Bad—one of the best-preserved seaside bathing hotels on in Southern Norway—has welcomed guests seeking rest, inspiration, and a connection to the sea. Over the years, the it has also attracted artists and creatives, inspired by the light, landscape, and the distinctive, tranquil atmosphere.

With a fantastic location, set on a 125-acre coastal property with its own beach, marina and landscaped bathing park, the hotel blends historic charm with natural beauty.

Today the property includes:
• The main building "Societeten" with reception, restaurant, event spaces, fireplace lounge and ladies' lounge
• 29 rooms across two buildings, as well as five cottages by the sea
• A campsite with sanitary facilities
• Open landscapes for tranquility and exploration
Free parking and Wi-Fi

Whether you come for a vacation, a weekend escape, coffee and cake, dinner, wedding or conference , the atmosphere is the same — calm, timeless and close to nature.

We look forward to sharing our love for this place with you.
